The devil cannot stand against God’s power. And remember: Where the devil has been before and done damage, he will try to come back. If you are cured of alcoholism, but you used to love whiskey, the same demon will return and again and try to tempt you to just take one drink. He will tempt you with the sin that he knows is your weakness. I admire anyone delivered from the world of society. I know what social drinking is like. It is not easy to get delivered from all of that. I made up my mind I would not go back into that kind of life after I got saved, it is costly but worth it.
Pastor Hayes gives his testimony: “Some people will not give up the world of cocktails and social life because they want to be with the “big shots.” Night clubs filled with all kinds of commonalities, and dirty jokes—that’s what I was delivered from. PRAYING IN TONGUES WILL KEEP YOU STRONG ENOUGH IN GOD that the devil cannot drag you back.”
It is written, meditate and live by this: Acts 1:8 “But you shall receive power (ability, efficiency, and might) when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you shall be My witnesses in Jerusalem and all Judea and Samaria and to the ends (the very bounds) of the earth.”
The things you cannot figure out, call out to God and pray in tongues. THE SPIRIT OF GOD KNOWS HOW TO GET VICTORY IN EVERY INSTANCE. If you will let Him come through you and pray in tongues, He knows how to get the will of God in every situation. You can be sick in any form or fashion, and the prayer of faith in Jesus’ name will get you your healing.
The Bible is more powerful than Satan and all of his demons. The devil cannot stand against the Word of God. The Word will put the devil on the run. The Word will bring the presence of the Holy Spirit onto a person, and when His presence goes on a person, the devil has to leave. The Word of God is powerful enough to set free the demon possessed. The Word of God is powerful enough to heal the sick. His Word will never fail. His Word is not weak; it is strong and powerful. The Word of God will set people free.
