The morning of February 9 is dawning in the light of white rays, spreading kindness to the heart, instilling good intentions in the heart…
It is at these moments that Hazrat Alisher Navoi’s ghazals are played on the radio, giving light and peace to the hearts:
My eyes are black, come and do your research.
Make a country like a people in front of my eyes.
Although five centuries have passed since these lines were written, they still shake our hearts. The reason is that in these words, noble goals such as loyalty, self-sacrifice, loving the motherland and the people with filial love and honor are embodied. while begging, he wishes to feed the whole existence with kindness. Such feeding leads a person to enjoy life, to be attentive and loving to the world and people, and to the world of high feelings.
If we look at Navoi’s work, we can see that important ideas such as enlightenment and spirituality, valuing a person, honoring the elderly, respecting parents, teachers, and mastering a profession are glorified in them:
He learns little by little and becomes wise.
It becomes a river after gathering.
His lines were a logical conclusion of his work and a lesson for his successors, his students, and the present generation.
A young man is the essence of knowledge
The poet, who said, “Spend it in your old age,” was educated and taught from a very young age. He memorized many poems from a young age. Among them, he recited Farididdin Attar’s “Mantiq-uttayr” (“Bird’s Speech”) over and over again in his childhood. He read and memorized. The great genius never got tired of reading and learning. While writing “Khamsa”, he carefully studied hundreds of manuscript sources, and because of his great creative preparation, he wrote more than fifty thousand verses of Turkish “Khamsa” in a short time, in two years.
We have a great enviable history. We have enviable riches. And I believe, if we are lucky, we will have an enviable great future, great literature and art.
