Corruption is a terrible evil that afflicts the society in various ways, it is considered a decline of the society. We conducted a sociological survey with the participation of students of the National University of Uzbekistan in order to determine the cases of corruption. We selected 800 respondents from the territory of Uzbekistan and carried out the analysis. In the next question, we turned to the respondents and analyzed their opinions:
62.7% of citizens believe that only the mutual cooperation of civil society institutions and state bodies in the fight against corruption, and the active civic position of every Uzbek citizen, will allow to reduce the risk of corruption and prevent corruption-related offenses. showed that corruption is widespread and widespread in custody institutions, every third respondent noted that corruption in this field occurs in some places. According to the results of the survey, 20.3% respondents indicated that corruption is widespread and ubiquitous, and another 30.9% of respondents noted that this vice exists in the system, but is not widespread. According to the results of the survey, corruption is less common in schools and pre-school educational institutions. Almost a third of respondents believe that there are cases of corruption in the banking system: 13.4% of respondents indicated that this situation is widespread, 18.1% of respondents believe that such cases are happening in some places. The research revealed cases that encourage citizens to break the law by bribing an official. As the results of the survey show, citizens often give bribes to quickly solve the problem they face, to avoid bureaucracy and bureaucracy arising from the legal way of solving it, that is, 44.1% of the respondents think so. Every fifth respondent expressed the opinion that citizens give bribes and become victims of greed by an official (18.7%). According to the results of the research, the percentage of respondents who know that their relatives have encountered cases of corruption, greed or bribery is 13.9%. organized. Most of the citizens, in particular 83.3%, said that they were not aware that their relatives or loved ones had faced cases of greed or bribery. This showed that although many people have opinions and conclusions about corruption, the percentage of citizens who have encountered or witnessed a real corruption situation is very small.
