My beloved aunt and her son Ms Lapologang Veronicah Otukile Maupong!

In the dusty village of Mahalapye, relatively approximately 5km from the center of the village lays an area name Tshikinyega 2, a mile from Dilaene ward, a mile from Parwe ward, in fact kind of no man’s land of it was overseas, or by the borders.
Right in the village center on the corner of the showground, in the midst of Rangers stadium formerly the national stadium which held Botswana National athletics and sports competitions, the Tamocha or Rangers stadium in between the agricultural show ground lays the Maupong compound if not homestead widely known as Kwa ga Mmacali!
The late old woman was so unique in everyway, but Covid left with many good people and although she was not confirmed as Covid victim she passed on that time. Teaching her offspring beautiful things she did not leave her husband with an empty house.
The kids carry on, live moves on, however Mrs Tshwanelo Otukile left a very immaculate and adorable daughter who took care of her father, the homestead and does other great things.

It is vital to highlight that an aunt or mother are the pillars of strength to the weak, we celebrate this amazing young woman as the space filled after our mother left can never be filled with anyone.
She is a mother, an aunt but a role model to many young people and youth in her community on the issues of steadfastness, love, and compassion as well as commitment to family.
A big happy birthday to Lapo in many various ways! Mmagwe Toy le Tshiamo May God continue to lift her up!
