Senator Veronica Maina the Chairperson of the Kenya Women Senators Association KEWOSA has once again demonstrated her commitment to compassionate leadership by attending a medical fundraiser for Kanini at Mukoe Village Kinyona Ward.
The event which brought together leaders residents and well wishers aimed at raising funds for Kanini’s medical care. Senator Maina personally attended the fundraiser offering her support and encouragement to the family while appreciating the contributions already made. She urged more Kenyans of goodwill to step forward and help bridge the remaining funding gap to ensure Kanini receives the treatment he urgently needs.
Visibly moved by Kanini’s improved condition compared to his earlier days in hospital Senator Maina prayed for his full recovery and extended gratitude to all those who had supported the cause. “May God’s favour rest upon everyone who has contributed towards this noble cause. Together we can restore hope and healing where it is needed most” she said.
Her presence at the fundraiser not only highlighted her dedication to grassroots engagement but also reflected the compassionate leadership style she is known for one that combines policymaking with direct community involvement. Under her stewardship KEWOSA has championed gender equality youth mentorship and inclusive policies while taking an active role in supporting community based initiatives such as education healthcare and social welfare programs.
