Evelyn Wanjugu, the Chief Executive Officer of Dedan Kimathi Foundation, has taken a moment to thank the President Dr William Ruto for his kind gesture.
The Head of State on Sunday announced that he will offset the hospital bill for Field Marshal Dedan Kimathi’s widow, Mukami Kimathi, who has been receiving treatment at Nairobi Hospital.
Evelyn Kimathi in her message of gratitude noted:
“On behalf of Mama Mukami Kimathi the larger Dedan Kimathi family and Dedan Kimathi Foundation fraternity, I would like to express our sincere gratitude to president His Excellency Dr William Ruto and Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua for intervening and ensuring that the medical bill of our May Mau liberation icon Mama Mukami Kimathi has been cleared.
I’m happy to report that Mama Mukami Kimathi has now been discharged from Nairobi Hospital and will be recuperating at her home.”
