Love is capable of making everything clear even the hidden areas of the soul that are usually filled with darkness. It blossoms and can develop into something completely different ,from the warmth of friendship to the passion of love .Despite how gentle and soothing love can be ,am still consumed by the weight of the question why does love have to come with the Harsh reality of goodbye ?.
Why do we have to fall in love with somebody so intensely and passionately ,just to be made to let go of the person. Why must we let go of the joy that gives us giggle, peace and cries too at the same time?.The hush whispers and the soft caresses, it doesn’t make sense.
I’ve heard people say that sometimes you have to let go of something precious because it’s not good for you. But what does that even mean? Why is it that something that makes me calm and gives me purpose is considered to be wrong for me? How can something that makes me feel so alive, loved, and happy be a burden?
Have witnessed it in my friends, former sweethearts, and even close relatives people whose hearts have been broken into pieces, lovers who have been treated like garbage, and families who have been cast out without any reason. It’s as if love is just a temporary solution to loneliness, a sore that is going to get infected again.
And as the darkness descends upon me, I know that I’ll continue loving. I’ll keep reaching out. And even when it ends again which it inevitably will I’ll keep getting back up again. Because what choice do we have? We are creatures driven by our hearts, desires, and the necessity of love.
It’s still great to be in love even if it feels like dying when it is over. Even if I feel like my world is falling apart when they leave me behind. Even it feels like I’m left with nothing but pieces of glass and shattered dreams.
It’s still worth it to risk everything for that one moment of happiness to feel the gentle warmth of love despite its bittersweetness.
But at what cost? What price do we pay for this momentary emotion? Our happiness? Our souls? I have witnessed people get lost in love, get lost in the process of looking for love. And I’ve seen people disappear in heartbreak, disappear in the wake of love.
Get yourself a perfect shade and ask yourself why does love have to end in Goodbye, Tears and a broken heart.
