A middle aged woman has been released unconditionally and turned as a key witness over alleged love triangle
Pauline Moraa accused person who was arrested alongside her alleged boyfriend Cyprian Karuri over the alleged killing of a secondary school deputy principal in Kisii County.
Thomson Ndege a secondary deputy principal deceased, was stabbed at one of the pub in Mosocho , Kisii County over an alleged love triangle and later pronounced dead on arrival at Kisii Teaching and Referral Hospital.
Pauline Moraa and Cyprian Karuri suspects were arrested and locked at Nyanchwa police station for the said killing.
The two appeared before the Kisii Law court resident magistrate Wa Kugwa Wahinya under miscellaneous application for the second time.
While presenting the suspects before court, the investigation officer Wickliffe Mburu told the court, they had talks with prosecution and agreed to have Moraa not charged but rather be used as the key witness in the case.
“We had talks with prosecution counsel and agreed to have Moraa as our key witness “said investigation officer.
The investigation Officer said they had completed investigation including taking witnesses statements and conducted a postmortem.
Wahinya ruled that, Moraa accused person, to be released unconditionally as Karuri to remain under the police custody awaiting to face the murder charges contrary to section 203 and 204 of the penal code.
Mentioning of the case will be on April 14, 2023.
