You influence a man according to how you treat him

- Be wary of those people you closely associate with as they may consciously or unconsciously influence your behaviour. The case is highly impactful when it is a young person who is being associated with certain people as they are highly likely to emulate them without doing a lot of background check to establish what influenced their master to be behaving the way he does.

Looking at the current situation and comparing it with how things were more than 10 years ago when I was in high school, I can state with certainty that the careers students prefer are influenced by those they look up to.
Those where were friendly to many of the teachers ended up becoming professional teachers specializing in subjects similar to those teachers whom they were close to more so the students who were prefects perhaps they admired being the intermediary between regular students and teachers.
Those who were close to our accounting teacher ended up becoming accountants. The students who were famous in sports joined discipline forces as policemen, army or general service unit officers. The mathematics subject lovers furthered their studies in computer related studies.
However, there are those who became businessmen or joined other careers which cannot be associated with the influence they got from teachers while at school though their number is minimal.
There is a natural liking that one has for the kind of life he wish to live and the class of activities that he may intend to be involved in but this urge is boosted by those he interacts with and admires.
Taking example of most of the prefects’ involvement in management of the school helped them to appreciate taking care of the students which lead them to full time venture as teachers upon training and their chemistry could go well with both fellow teachers as well as the students. They teach full of enthusiasm as their dreams during youthful age gets fulfilled.
There were those students who were always on the wrong side of the regulations, evaded meeting with teachers eventually most of them ended up taking non education courses in fields like entertainment and other technical courses.
A mother who loves his son cultivates the culture of care in his son. Many are times when his son thinks an ideal wife material is the one who could care for him like his mother does. You would find him developing liking for any lady whose behaviour or physical characteristics are like those of his mum.
On the other hand if his mum mistreats him he will have dislike for anyone who behaves or physically looks like her to avoid the pain he has been subjected to as he grew up.
A kind police man or a progressive one economically and intellectually may motivate many of those he serves especially the young generation to join the service upon graduating from high school or college as they wish to live like him.

Whoever you employ at your home or place of work and who happens to interact with your kids regularly may influence their bringing up. Be careful with whoever is in your company and how you relate infront of your kids as they may adopt that as the standard way of living.
If you appreciate a caring world start cultivating that attitude let those you interact with recognize you for such an attitude they will in turn reciprocate that goodness by showing it to others and you will have a well cultured community where everyone feels recognized and appreciated.
Do not hesitate to do what is good to others perhaps you will require their services at one time or the other and they are likely to reciprocate. Appreciate achievements of others create positive vibes and you will also enjoy positive environment created.
