President William Ruto's 13th Parliament opening
The President didn’t look prepared. He should have articulated what he wants the Parliament to achieve for a particular duration. Issues dealing with Fuliza are not rendering lasting solutions. He should work on Kenyans borrowing directly from the government as he promised instead central bank has just raised lending rates. He should ensure that Kenyans are free from borrowing, not reducing the weight of the debt. A borrower is a slave to the lender! Where is the freedom which was coming?
