Jackson Reriani Gachagua

The elder brother to Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua will be buried tomorrow; President William Ruto is expected to attend the burial.
Jackson Reriani Gachagua died a few days ago after illness.
Yesterday, hundreds of mourners thronged the deceased’s home at Hiriga village, Mathira to condole the family.

Also present yesterday was the Deputy President who was accompanied by dozens of leaders.
Among them were Nyeri Governor Mutahi Kahiga, his deputy David Kinaniri, area Senator Wahome Wamatinga, Women Rep Rahab Mukami and host MP Eric Wamumbi.
Others were Nyeri County Speaker Gichuhi Mwangi, Laikipia County Deputy Governor Reuben Kamuri, nominated Senator Karen Nyamu, Kiambu County Senator Karungo Thangw’a and Nyeri Town MP Duncan Maina Mathenge. Also present were former Nyeri Town MP Wambugu Ngunjiri, former Nyeri County gubernatorial candidate Economist Peter Maina Munyiri and Karatina town business community led by Dr Jeff Kamau.
Dozens of clergymen from various religious denominations led the mourners in prayers.
