It is written: “For the sinful nature is always hostile to God. It never did obey God’s laws, and NEVER WILL. That’s why those who are still under the control of THEIR SINFUL NATURE CAN NEVER PLEASE GOD (Romans 8:7 – 8). 1 John 4: 18 states “There is no fear in LOVE. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love.”
We notice several things here: That fear is brought through embracing or believing in punishment or expectation thereof! Then, what drives away fear! The nature of God is also revealed: He is the PERFECT LOVE. Ask yourself: ‘do I truly believe this? Have I applied this in my life? Have I sufficiently meditated on this word and proclaimed it in my life? There is life giving power in the Word of God, and through HIS PERFECT LOVE, we are liberated by His grace.
This is indeed my prayer also in such a time( February 2023) “ When I think of all this, I fall to my knees and pray to the Father, the Creator of everything in heaven and on earth. I pray that from HIS glorious, unlimited resources HE will empower you( SamWest BlackBoots F.C family, people ministered to by EMEA, Dagoretti South, 44, Roysambu, Nairobi, Kenya and many other parts of this world+++×) with inner strength through HIS Spirit. Then Christ will make HIS home in your hearts as you trust in HIM. MAY YOU BE ROOTED DEEP IN LOVE AND FOUNDED SECURELY ON LOVE (roots will grow down into God’s love and keep you strong.) [18]And may you have the power to understand, as all God’s people should, how wide, how long, how high, and how deep HIS LOVE is .”( Ephesians 3: 14- 18) : AMEN
