Kiambu Woman Representative Ann Muratha has welcomed the women enterprise fund that was re-launched yesterday by President Dr William Ruto.
In the launch that took place at the Kenyatta international convention center KICC president Ruto said:
“The funds available under the women enterprise fund has been at Ksh.4.5B for the last 15 years, we are going to triple the resources available under that fund so that we can also triple the number of women groups that will benefit from the fund.”
Welcoming that statement, Wamuratha said:
“We are very happy as the women of Kenya for this commitment by his excellency the President to honor his word towards women empowerment. We want to assure him or our unwavering support to make this fund a game change in the socioeconomic sphere,” Wamuratha said.
