The Cabinet Secretary for East Africa Community and ASALs Rebecca Miano has led relief food distribution efforts in the Northern Frontier region.
In a tweet Rebecca Miano noted:
“As directed by H.E President @WilliamsRuto that no live should be lost due to hunger, we today flagged off bags of rice & beans for distribution in @WajirCountyKE and Marsabit Counties. We’re also providing water trucking services to provide clean water to the Communities.
Despite yet another failed rain season , the Government through established partnerships with @USAIDKenya @WFP_Kenya @UNOCHA and other allies has ensured that no child misses school due to hunger related challenges.”
