By Our Reporter
The County Government of Laikipia has been in the forefront in ensuring that feeding programmes are supported in our schools, therefore it has embraced partnerships in fighting and mitigating effects of hunger and Climate change.
This journey has involved many partners who have supported us in ensuring that remedies towards the aforementioned issues are arrived at.
Habitat for Humanity is one of the partners we have been collaborating with in mitigating the ravaging drought and hunger brought by climate change.
Yesterday, in the collaborative efforts, Laikipia County Deputy Governor Reuben Kamuri joined Habitat for Humanity Kenya in distribution of food to five schools in support of a one year feeding programme in several schools which include; Mbombo primary school in Laikipia west, Kandutura primary school, Naibor Primary School in Segera ward, Mutirithia Primary School and Mbogoini Primary School
