Worth Noting:
- I will briefly look at the proposals that are in Wajackoyah’s Manifesto. The first thing he proposes farming of marijuana for the said crop has a high market value and the money gotten from the same can be used to offset the debt that Kenya owes to the Chinese government and companies hailing from the said nation.
- This proposal to me is of economic value however it has been castigated from moral and religious lenses by many a Christian, clergy men name them.
- The second proposal is to hang those implicated of graft so that they can be a lesson to all folks who try stealing from the government.
- The third is to increase forest cover to 25% of the land in Kenya by planting a 10 kilometer forest barrier from Transnzoia to Wajir to prevent spread of desert and mitigate climate change in Kenya.
What can be said of a man? I pose this question unto masses. I then proceed in the words of Justice David Majanja; a man is his history and ambition. In my own words a man is a product of both nature and nurture. Take that into context lest thee miss out. Last I checked Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission cleared only four candidates to vie for the much coveted seat in the land; that of the President. The four persons include Right Honorable Raila Amollo Odinga, His Excellency William Samoei Ruto, Professor George Wajackoyah and another least popular candidate whom I even wonder how he got cleared. That doesn’t mean I do demean him, am only wondering out loud.
Prof Wajackoyah isn’t a new dude in the political. The man did vie in the 2017 presidential polls and unfortunately he only managed to compete with spoilt votes and rejected votes. Of which I am certain that the spoilt votes and rejected votes gave him a run for his money and won. In that contested Prof Wajackoyah lost badly. He was in the arena for the presidential polls and he ended up being defeated by spoilt votes and rejected votes; the two never campaigned like maybe how he did. How sad can that can be? But that happened in 2017 and it seems he learnt his lesson the hard way. Thus, with the lessons he got in 2017 he managed to strategize for the 2022 elections at large.
It is always ideal for each candidate to have a strategy on how to lure voters to him or her without using much resources and it seems Wajackoyah has perfected that amicably well from my end. Strategy generally leads on to focus and be productive in his or her endeavor. It establishes in a clear, concise and strategically sound way. It defines clear lines of accountability and timelines for achieving expected results on the agreed strategic initiatives. In clarifying the vision and accountabilities, the strategic plan increases the alignment of all organizational activities and fosters commitment at all levels. Strategic planning is about making choices, establishing priorities, allocating resources to strategic initiatives and coordinating to achieve desired results. Wajackoyah definitely managed to craft a perfect strategic plan to woe voters to his camp for after all Kenyans vote on tribal lines; that is not new to an inhabitants of Jerusalem.
I will briefly look at the proposals that are in Wajackoyah’s Manifesto. The first thing he proposes farming of marijuana for the said crop has a high market value and the money gotten from the same can be used to offset the debt that Kenya owes to the Chinese government and companies hailing from the said nation. This proposal to me is of economic value however it has been castigated from moral and religious lenses by many a Christian, clergy men name them. The second proposal is to hang those implicated of graft so that they can be a lesson to all folks who try stealing from the government. The third is to increase forest cover to 25% of the land in Kenya by planting a 10 kilometer forest barrier from Transnzoia to Wajir to prevent spread of desert and mitigate climate change in Kenya.
Another proposal is to bar civil servants from doing any transaction with the government. If the civil servants to business with the government there are high chances that it will create a cartel, corruption, conflict of interest and they give all tenders to their wives, children and relatives. Professor also plans to increase the civil servants salaries by 50% for well-paid civil servants are motivated, productive and will stop insulting citizens and harassing citizens and thus promote overall service delivery. He also has in manifesto plans of liberalizing the fuel sector by buying cheap oil from Iran, Iraq, Venezuela and Russia at ten shillings and resell to petrol stations at twenty shillings and petrol stations to sell to citizens at thirty shillings.
Don Wajackoyah has plans to build serviced 2,500 rural integrated villages, housing and 1,000 households each thus increasing urbanization to 85%. To offset the debts he as well advocated for snake farming in large scale quantities. To create income for the country he proposes selling for over two million passports to rich global citizens who want a second passport which they get instantly for USD 1.5 million each thus raising 350 trillion. This much cash is enough to create 15 million jobs and make Kenya a first world and pay all the debts that Kenya owes.
No, just tell me are those proposals not liberating? I know you might question some but generally most of his proposals are economically viable. Interestingly the little known Wajackoyah in 2017 is now widely known and widely talked about. This is the power of strategy that Prof Wajackoyah crafted to enable him walk through the murky political waters. Definitely it is not any easy road although as of now he widely talked about he has attracted equal amount of hate especially on the front that he is advocating for farming of marijuana and the front on him hanging those implicated of corruption.
In a nutshell, Prof Wajackoyah might be able to cause a voting revolution. Generally Kenyans are tribalistic in nature and they do vote in that line to their detriment. I say this one more time thou shall not take Wajackoyah for granted he might cause a lot to happen. The ground has good tidings about him. A lot can happen within the next forty something days. Thou shall not underrate Wajackoyah.
