Uzbek First President Islam Karimov

Our first president, Islam Karimov, described Navoi as follows: A poet who expresses the joy and sorrow of the human heart, the goodness and meaning of life as deeply as Navoi is rarely found in the history of world literature, that is, among Uzbek, Russian and English writers, Navoi is a great poet.
In recognition of his rich spiritual heritage, he emphasizes the need for everyone to read Navoyi every day to gain spiritual maturity, to be read to our children, and proudly expresses that he is a great poet. , in the following sentences: If we call this great person a saint, he is a saint of saints, if we say a thinker, he is a thinker of thinkers, if we say a poet, he is a sultan of poets.
By contributing to the development of Uzbek literature, Navoi wrote in two languages, and in turn became one of the gems of literature with his famous works and ghazals in the history of world literature. The poet, who is known as a great poet, is known to the world as “Sultan of Ghazal property”.
Along with adult literature, Alisher Navoi makes a significant contribution to the development of children’s literature. For example, the story “Sher and Durroj”, which is familiar to all children through the work “Hayrat-ul Abror”, is not only watched with interest by children, but also performed on stages at festivals and events.
The works created by Navoi are valued among the works that contain real life events and are saturated with the light of science and tradition, which value pure human feelings and serve as a wake-up call for children. The works created by Navoi play an important role in educating children to be simple-minded, hard-working, and conscientious in terms of patriotism.
When it comes to the work of Hamsa, everyone understands the meaning of the work worthy of respect. This work of Navoiyini, which includes five epics, is known as the wonder of people, and is still recognized by literary people and those interested in literature, and “Navoiyikhanlik” nights are organized every year on February 9 in our country. Book reading parties and events dedicated to Navoi are organized and Navoi’s work is presented to the public.It can be said that Navoi’s ghazals have a deep place in the heart of the people. It has been five and a half centuries that Navoi’s works and ghazals always evoke a feeling of excitement when they are read. As an example:

we can get. This ghazal, which contains a universal meaning, deserves the attention of Lutfii, Navoiyi’s teacher. Lutfii Navoiyi offered to share his entire creation with two lines of ghazals. In the language of our people, he once again proves the phrase “a student who does not lose his teacher is not a student”. The teacher’s life is connected to the student.
The fact that Alisher Navoi was an intelligent child from a young age and was knowledgeable and insightful among his peers and the most amazing thing is that he memorized the Holy Qur’an at the age of 6, which entered the history of mankind as a miracle. Researches have been studied by scientists and even now the researches have not ended.
In conclusion, it can be said that Hazrat Alisher Navoi’s never-ending history and great spiritual heritage left to the generations became an example for our youth to be proud of. We also promise with our pure hearts to serve our country in the way of knowledge and enlightenment as a generation worthy of our ancestors, and sincerely try to be a generation worthy of our grandfathers
