Kisii residents move to the street to celebrate Supreme Court verdict to uphold the victory of president elect William Ruto which was held on August 9.
Kisii County was perceived to be swing vote to Azimio One Kenya.
A section of residents says that the decision was good and called upon Azimio One Kenya to accept court verdict and move on.
The residents said that, Mr Ruto has leadership virtues which has clearly come out that he is a leader to govern the country.
Ruth Moraa said that since the outbreak of Covid 19 the economy of the country has not stabilized and called upon Mr Ruto to reduce prices of the commodities.
Moraa said that, since Mr Ruto has been criticizing the government for failing to act, he is now in the government to intervene and reduce the food prices.
“The ball is on Mr Ruto to fulfill all the promises he made during the campaigns, “she said.

This is the second presidential case which has been nullified; in 2017 chief justice David Maraga nullified reelection of Uhuru Kenyatta and ordered the election to be carried with 60 days after finding that the outcome was tainted by irregularities.
The seven judges were unanimous on all the nine issues for determination and save for rejecting the position that the position that the electoral agency chairman has absolute powers to tally and verify results, the country rejected all other claims.
Azimio team also cited that they were outright lies that would have included forgeries.
