Tabitha Karanja meets Keroche Breweries neighbours as she consolidates support base

Following the old adage, Blessings start at Home, Nakuru County senatorial aspirant Tabitha Karanja yesterday met different groups in her firm’s neighbourhood.
The Keroche Breweries limited Chief Executive Officer, met among others Bodaboda operators, traders and residents living near her company base as she sought to get support in her bid to be the third Senator representing Nakuru under United Democratic Alliance (UDA) political party.
Summarising her busy day with the neighbours, Ms Karanja noted, “had a breakfast meeting with Keroche Bodaboda Selfhelp Group. I am encouraged to have learnt of the steps you have made in registration of Keroche boda boda self help group”.
She observed that the plans the group have of opening Keroche Boda Boda spare parts Shop in Naivasha town, through your savings was a positive move, that needs to be emulated by other boda boda associations within the county and beyond which she described as “well done for setting up the pace for bottom up realization”.
Later she had tea with the local community within the neighborhood where she got an opportunity to have a meeting and interact with them.
” I’m honoured and humbled by your words of encouragement and the support you promised towards my candidature and UDA. On my part I promise to work and serve you as a senator in Nakuru County,” she said.
Since she was issued with the UDA nomination certificate, Ms Karanja has been crisscrossing the vast County soliciting support for her senatorial candidature come August 9 General Election.
