Most Kenyans will agree that with the current President in power, and about to complete his second term, the change promised did not entirely meet their expectations, in reference to the Manifestos he and his deputy presented.
The fact is that all eyes are focused on the next general elections. On who will replace the current people in office and who won’t? The last couple of years have been too cumbersome, hard to bear with. With the daily rising economy as the major stress factor.
Majority of Kenyans seem to be happy after President Uhuru and opposition leader Raila Odinga’s pledge to work together; commonly known as the handshake. They may have had it rough at first but Kenyans seem to have gradually accepted it.
This has however raised questions as to whether the President is still working with his Vice.
As it appears to many, the speculating Kenyans may like to think that the bond that was there between the president and his vise has already succumbed.
However according to statistics and from the previous elections, in order for a candidate to win a presidential election, one would have to dominate more than 9.8 million votes.
Most politicians focusing their campaigns on Mt. Kenya region due to the large number of people residing there. Gaining more votes from this region might be a good chance of winning the presidential seat.
Youths are advised to vote for a leader who they think will make a great impact on the country’s ground .This is due to the ‘promises’ made by the leaders which are never seen to actually be implemented.
