Termed as the Dark Continent in the word, Africa gained inferiority as the continent was known to be backward in civilization and knowledge. Then how dark is dark? George H.T Kimble said “The darkest thing about Africa is our ignorance of it.” Being a continent of a greater land mass and topography. Africa is termed to be among the largest continent in the world. The shape, size and the landmass itself keeps our continent at a superior level. African greatness and superiority was evident by some of the earliest philosophers, for instance the Dr Louis Leaky who pronounced that Africa is the most important of the five continents since Mesopotania was given the audacity to be the birthplace of human and the rise of humanity. It is in this continent that the superiority of invention and innovation of Mousterian and Anterian technology of humanity began. It’s not only that the greatness of the early African empires and kingdoms had grown and were powerful due to their own civilization in the past.
The greatness of the African intellectual attainments knowledge on art and culture that lead to shaping of the African continent. The African superiority in addition emerged with the origin of scramble and partition of Africa countries that lead to slave trade-this was an indication that Africa was superior in labour productivity in farming, pottery, trading and weaving during those primitive ages. The rich agricultural resources the Dark Continent had were signs of the greatest mother Africa was to yield plenty and be the basket that feeds its colonies. The modern Africa is of greatness and superiority as it has become the world’s food basket in tea, coffee and cocoa production. The world’s beverages stock being extracted from the Dark Continent.
The world’s beauty and romantic flowers are produced in our mother continent. The inferiority of our backward apprenticeship system of education have been modernised creating a change in the concept of our intellectualism. These have been proven by the new growth in literacy levels of Africans in various fields of professionalism. The African technology is almost to that of the first class continent with the newest space, land and water technologies that has injected change to humanity as other continents.
With these concerns it’s a clear directive that we as a continent of African are above the notion of intimidation on their inferiority.
