In anticipation of the upcoming United Nations Civil Society Conference (#69UNCSC) in Nairobi, Kenya, African Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) are gearing up for a significant Pre-Conference Activation. This event, co-hosted by the UN Civil Society Conference in Support of the Summit of the Future, alongside the Pan African Climate Justice Alliance (PACJA) and SDG Forum, promises to set the stage for robust discussions and collaborations.
The Pre-Conference African CSO Activation aims to bring together a diverse range of voices and perspectives from across the continent. CSOs play a crucial role in advocating for sustainable development, climate justice, and the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). This gathering serves as a platform for CSOs to strategize, network, and align their efforts in addressing pressing global challenges.
Key themes on the agenda include climate resilience, environmental sustainability, social justice, and the empowerment of marginalized communities. Participants will engage in panel discussions, workshops, and networking sessions designed to foster collaboration and knowledge exchange.
