Agencies that recruit Kenyans for the international Job market have thanked the Government of His Excellency the President Dr William Ruto for enhancing ease of doing business.
Josephine Muriuki is the Chair, Domestic at Association of Skilled Migrant workers of Kenya. She says:
โThe President is on record calling for an increment in remittances especially the Foreign Direct Investment (FDI). Itโs for this reason that we, as workers who enable this, are very happy and welcome such a move with open arms. This will translate to increased job opportunities especially for our youths.โ
Muriuki also implored upon Kenyans to embrace this new opportunity and get to apply for the various job opportunities that the international market presents.
โA country like Philippines depends on international remittances to fund its budget and get things running. As Kenyan weโve been given a leverage to compete with other countries in the world in order to grow our remittances which will in turn translate to the growth of our economy.โ
Muriuki at the same time took the opportunity to wish Kenyans a Merry Christmas and a Prosperous New Year 2023.
โI wish all Kenyans a Merry Christmas and a Prosperous New Year 2023. Iโm calling upon the drivers to exercise caution especially on our roads in order to make sure that the people arrive alive.โ She said.
