All Humanity in Climate Action

- As for Africa, the sure way to employ this zeal is in the production of energy from Biomass. It settles every one of Africans in the sequence of battles against climate change, owing to the fact renewable energy comes from plants and animals.
- This is synonymous with the daily, simple and cheap African vast life, and sure of Africa’s enormous arable land, the continent could be a harbor of husbandry- the cultivation and breeding of crops and animals- for the goal of combating climate change. Many of Africans are in rural places and practice farming, but they have not learnt to do it advertently with an aim of combating Climate Change.
- The governments of these African countries should wake up and exploit this golden opportunity.
The culture in which African fathers and mothers grew up, once thoughtfully molded, can be a perfect way to combat climate change. The philosophy that underlies the structure of this culture is that of living together in brotherly love. Proof is abundant that the mental construct of selfishness, is the weightiest cause that deconstructs nature; making the planet experience untold consequences of climate change. It is that as selfish human beings strive with an anterior motive of making it to the top, because they anyway are capable; without minding the consequences of their actions to the rest of society: nature weeps as had as the rest of society does.
Let not this piece be taken to be hostile to the freedom-oriented capitalistic structure of society- a model that gives freedom for one to be a billionaire out of fossil fuels. Let it rather flash the light of a model that gives freedom to be a billion-loaded being out of renewable energy. Of course, the production and usage of fossil fuels accounts terribly for the high growth of Climate Change; and the fact is clear that any activity that distorts the normal climate system hampers the whole planet. That puts no one to a safe zone, yet huge numbers of the world population remain inactive. The most effective way is then to mobilize the entire population of the globe to action. However, humanity would never come close to combating climate change if there is no brotherly love– a social system that places the true motive of human activity as to serve the goodness of others. Because fossil fuels provide lucrative returns, further deepening the rationale of investing more in them, it is in the realization of the bond in which all humanity shares, that the zeal for production and usage of renewable energy shall be cultivated, and employed to replace the zeal for profitable returns.

The cheapness of Biomass production even extends to the methods in which it is converted into energy, such as through direct combustion (burning to produce heat), Biological conversion, Chemical conversion, and Thermochemical conversion: all to produce solid, liquid and gaseous fuels. These methods are cheaper because they do not need sophisticated minds and machinery. For example, a rural person who was never initiated into formal education is capable of mastering pyrolysis, a thermochemical method of producing renewable diesel and bio-oil through heating organic materials simply just in the near complete absence of free oxygen.
However, African governments should take the initiative to organize African societies into planting greenery, and rearing animals, and ultimately teaching them how to produce energy from Biomass. The philosophy should be to portray brotherly love to one’s self, nature, and the rest of humanity. It is this collective action of all peoples across the globe that Climate Change might be adequately dealt with.
