My life passes in secrecy,
Yet I live in grandeur, you see.
Let me offer a false excuse,
To solitude, I’ve grown used, Mother.
I laugh and play as my days go by,
Grateful my eyes still see the sky.
But as my youth begins to fly,
From loneliness, I’m tired, Mother.
Even if the one I loved leaves,
Even if my closest friend deceives,
Though only my lonely soul believes,
I’ve conquered loneliness, Mother.
Every spring, the trees will bloom,
Laughter and joy will chase away gloom.
Even wealth won’t lift the room,
I’ve forgotten loneliness, Mother.
If you knew the pattern of my heart,
With you here, life plays its part.
The bard Laziziy sings your art,
You’re the one I love, Mother.
