With less than two months to the D-Day, different entrants of Angaza awards are encouraging their fans to support their bids.

The 1st Edition of Angaza Awards (Mt Kenya Region Edition) purpose is to recognize achievements and talent, promote innovation, and celebrate the drive, spirit and diversity of our community’s impactful men and women.

The Angaza Awards 2025 aims to create a platform for marginalized men and women, ensuring that we shine a light upon them.

By amplifying the voices of our community frontiers from diverse backgrounds, the industry remains dynamic and responsive to changing audience preferences and global trends.

Angaza Awards is a subsidiary of Angaza Hope Foundation, led by the Founder Mr Theuri David with 4 other Directors ,who are from different professions.

Angaza Hope Foundation is a community based charitable organization with our Mission “Holistic empowerment impacting livelihood and the society.

It’s our vision that we shall impact lives through spreading love hope and empowerment and giving forums and platforms to celebrate achievements in the community.

The Angaza Awards aims to celebrate excellence in all fields in the community by recognizing outstanding accomplishments and contributions. It brings together top professionals, organizations and innovators for an evening of celebration, networking and recognition.

As evident from a recent case study , our community is blessed to have talents that if not nurtured or given a platform, face the danger that has got a hold of the  society through drugs and alcoholism among other bad things. Through community forums, community outreach, and organizations like ours , the government has stood in the gap to reform our community through projects, initiatives and creating awareness to fight the menace.

With Angaza Awards we aim to recognize and celebrate individuals from the grassroot and create a platform where outstanding talents are embraced.

The Awards gala will be held on 6th June in Nyeri town with the theme “Empower Talent, Celebrate excellence, Bring light”. This theme promotes the idea that our community deserves to be heard and valued. We plan that Angaza Awards will happen annually.

Being our first edition, our Target audience will be both men and women living and residing in Mt Kenya Region across different fields and professions. We will utilize social media platforms to engage with the audience. Through public participation, the public is given a chance to nominate men and women whom they feel have been positively impacting our society and deserve to be recognized.

Purity Gachuhi is the Director in charge of Communications while Lucy Nyambura is the Director in charge of Operations and Marketing
