In all societies or organisations there is great need for peaceful coexistence among the members. This calls for deep understanding among the members involved. In many situations the societies opt to craft laws to discourage behaviours which could cause conflict, failure to obey these rules and regulations will lead to punishment.
However, all the regulations may not necessarily be written some are applied more so the oppressive ones. Majority of the members are pro status quo so the management does not have hard time trying to control them as they are willing to abide by the existing laws without considering their merits and demerits.
Those in authority are happy with the conservatives as they will echo the song the management leads by doing so there will be peace and harmony.
The culture which is cultivated as one is growing up is important in shaping how he will be acting and reacting to various situations so the prevailing culture makes those in it set expectations for its members.
A research about innovators and inventors you will realise that they face a lot of resistance while carrying out their projects from the masses who know that they are trying to do tasks in the unusual manner. If you are either an inventor or innovator the masses will mock you even wish not to listen to you, put no contribution to your project and treat you as a rebel even after completing a project many are unwilling to take up the new product for them not to look odd in the society.
When you operationalize the project and some critics test it as a way of looking for loop holes in it only to find out that it is more efficient than existing system it is when they adopt your product.

Whatever exists in universe or whatever is imagined has its own basis. A thorough research you will establish all the contributing factors to the way things are. Every tree has a name usually derived from its characteristics or origin same applies to any other vegetation. Every animal has a name which has a historic fact. Every behavior among the living things has a history and reasons behind it. Every rule has its origin and there were contributing factors that lead to it being crafted.
Over time some of the factors that necessitated crafting of laws change, there are other new issues that come up for example technology like the emergency of social media and adoption of foreign cultures so the rules need to be amended to reflect current day realities but trying to initiate change there are many who will treat you as a rebel whose intention is to show discontent with the current administration but once the changes are enacted it is when they are able to compare the former and current terms and appreciate your efforts.
