The number of road accidents has become rampant in the previous weeks across the country causing a lot of deaths and injuries too many people. These accidents have been reported to be caused by drivers errors ranging from over speeding, intoxication or plain recklessness among Kenyan drivers. Drink driving is also a major cause of accidents together with the use of mobile phones by drivers while driving.
The government and the National Transport and Safety Authority now calls for drivers to be more careful while driving by ensuring that they develop a positive attitude towards driving, have passengers wear safety belts, limit both the number of passengers on public vehicles and night driving, keep it slow and slow for starters and finally train well for poor weather conditions.
Doing these will help reduce road carnages and accidents on our roads this saving lots of lives and injuries on the people.
