Cummins Car & General, in collaboration with the Rotary Club of Nairobi Langata handed over a Cummins generator to the Mechatronics class at Langata Technical and Vocational Training Institute. This was a much-needed boost for the institution’s practical learning environment.
The generator C28 D5, will support hands-on learning for 44 students currently enrolled in the Mechatronics class. This donation marks a step forward in equipping the institution with resources that align with industry standards, ensuring students receive relevant and high-quality technical education.
During the handover, Mr. Simon Nyagah, Principal of Langata Technical and Vocational Training Institute, expressed his heartfelt gratitude. He noted that the donation would go a long way in enhancing learning outcomes for students, especially during practical lessons.
The donation reflects Cummins C&G’s ongoing commitment to supporting education, skills development, and community empowerment, while aligning with the Rotary Club’s mission of service and development in local communities.
