A whisper here, a whizzing there
A whimsical worry here and there
A little shut of the door
A sharp sound of falling metallic cups
Cups spread in pieces of nothingness
I stood ajar with my mouth agape
The awe in the madness made it as clear as mud
Our humble abode bored simple pep of a dog
Verve itself was falling apart,
Once a subtle esprit was engrossed in parts of us apart
Life was a dream in a manger with little big-mess
