- A teacher who does not expect his students to understand and be able to apply that knowledge in exams and life should have no business in the teaching profession reason being he is paid to ensure this happens and even for him he acquired knowledge he has through a similar procedure.
- A farmer has high hopes when sowing seeds that they will germinate and grow eventually mature after which they will be harvested otherwise if he has no faith of harvesting any crop then he should not bother to till the land, plant and control weed without harvest all his efforts will be in vain.
Expect others to succeed. It becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy when you believe others are loyal, dedicated and doing a good job …………………Biz Move.
At birth it is the expectation of every mother that the baby will be healthy and cry immediately yet the mother has not taught her kid how to cry. What makes the mother to have such a belief in her kid is due to good expectations that her kid will be normal and will thrive well.
She too expects that the kid will comfortably breastfeed despite not having taught the kid how to breastfeed. In general she expects the kid to succeed in all that a normal kid does.
When this turns to be true she is not shocked rather she becomes thankful to the creator of that kid that he has enabled her to give birth to a normal baby.
Such firm beliefs in success continues in life where the parents expects their kid will grow and mature then get married in future and bear kids, secure a good income generating project.

In a football game the role of a striker is to score goals or assist his colleagues to score goals unless he has such a plan he need not to be part of them in that role as he will be against the team spirit.
In battle the aim of the military men is not be kill their rivals rather to secure victory with minimum casualties’ reason being if the rival has similar thoughts of killing him then there would be no one to go to battle in days to come.
Their master expect his troupes to win if this is not the case then either his planning is poor or his troupes does not obey his instructions otherwise if he realise that they have no capacity to go for that war he should not have engaged in it from the word go.
At work place when people transition from college or one job position to the other the bosses should expect them to understand the operations then work effectively otherwise he should not be the boss since there is the going concern concept in businesses where they expect it to thrive beyond the foreseeable future. To be the boss you need to be able to steer the company in all aspects which include human resources, production and customer relations.
Not only should the bosses at work place expect other staff to perform their duties well but they should have a succession plan where those to succeed them should normally be younger than them. This shows great expectations that there are others to serve in them position in a similar or better ways than them for great prosperity of the company.
