The royal clans of the Bangwato are mourning the death of the first born daughter and only daughter amongst males, Jacqueline Tebogo Khama.
She was a quiet and humble person, stayed out of the limelight although was the princess and the heiress of the first President of Botswana the late Sir Seretse Khama.
She was the one who had no time for media nor political influence. She was the aunt a sister and grandmother but nevertheless it is a great loss to the whole nation.
Question remains on the entire succession of the Bangwato chieftaincy after the suspension of the regent a few weeks ago, following his resignation.
