The poem “Greetings from the great world” written by Gafur Ghulom, who left a bright mark in Uzbek and world literature with his immortal lines and prolific and meaningful work, inspired the hearts of all the Uzbek people and became a mother. It increases the feeling of love and pride for our country. The poet wrote this poem in 1958, when our society was recovering from the severe complications left by the Second World War. In this poem, the poet vividly expressed the hospitality, kindness, childishness and diligence of the Uzbek people. he helped his compatriots, comrades-in-arms at the front and behind him. Especially when the children of other nationalities, who lost their parents and became homeless, moved to Uzbekistan, the Uzbek people opened their wide arms and accepted them as their own children, as a high example of humanity. i think Now if we pay attention to these verses:
Alexander did not get it and Firdausi praised,
To the capital city of Uzbek, which is a legal capital?
In the first line of Misra, Alexander, that is, Alexander the Great, who occupied more than half of the world, could not completely conquer our country, and the great Persian-Tajik poet, Abulqasim Firdausi, famous for his royal work called “Shahnoma”, describes the beauty of our homeland. described. In the next verse, it is mentioned that the Turkish poet and enlightener Nizami, who wrote in Persian, wanted to come to our country, but could not. In my opinion, it is in the heart of every compatriot to feel the sense of pride and pride in our country described by such great people.

If we pay attention to these last lines of the poem, Gafur Ghulam invites other peoples to travel to our country not only in his own name, but also in the name of the entire Uzbek people, in the simple Uzbek language, in the vernacular. With a clear conscience, the fact that our tolerant people offer with unselfish intentions has given a special charm to the content of the poem.
In conclusion, I would like to say that Gafur Ghulam was able to reflect various scenes of people’s life and inner world in his work. He is a creator who glorified the national anthem, human life, and the greatness of the Uzbek people. This is his greatness and vitality.
