Worth Noting:
- Those claiming that they stole elections on behalf of the President and his government are engineering a Timer Bomb which will explode and tear apart the democratic progress we have achieved as a country, but I can assure them – they aren’t safe from it either and in case the war breaks in the country, they will also suffer.
- When I wrote an article last year calling for criminalisation of hustler versus dynasty narrative, some individuals especially the political class supported it, while others called me names – a Jubilee mole, Uhuru sycophant etc., but I can say it here and again without fear a contradiction, that this dichotomy is very dangerous and can plunge this country into chaos – worse than in 2007.
We MUST face the reality – No one wants to believe that with current intolerance by Kenya politicians, inflammatory and toxic politics especially at the back yard of President Uhuru Kenyatta, the lack of lawful action to those inciting the community, makes me believe we might be headed toward civil war.
“How Civil Wars Start.” The Hustler vs Dynasty economic dichotomy shall ignite the class war between the “Haves and the have Nots” – Forest Road incident isn’t an isolated case, Kenyans have suffered in the hands of organized criminal gangs. Politicians are using the Bodaboda operators for their own political mileage, to cause mayhem during rallies and even to sabotage reforms meant to regulate the sector. We are even inciting them to take the law in their hands by invading police stations to get their motorbikes after the country crackdown of rogue operators.

The 2007-08 wounds are still fresh; we “Wanjiku” haven’t forgotten the pain and loss lives and property in the Rift valley and other parts of the country, the Kiambaa church and the mass burials.
If you were a political analyst, looking at events in Rwanda, South Sudan, Somalia, Central Africa Republic, DRC, Ivory Coast, Venezuela and many other countries were at one time wrecked by toxic politics and more so the kind of politics in Kenya today. If you go down a checklist, assessing each of the conditions that make civil war likely, you will find that Kenya, is going down that slippery and dangerous path.
The Thika Rally, in my view is the droplet that caused the beaker to overflow. They have been abusing the President out there, but doing it in his bedroom is hitting him below the belt – na hatutakubali!
The honourable thing these people could do if they feel uncomfortable in government is to resign and seek fresh mandate from “Wanjiku” if you are not happy, instead of attacking and mocking President Uhuru Kenyatta and demeaning the government they are serving in – “if the kitchen is too hot” just resign!
President Uhuru will not be contesting for Presidency in August 2022 but he’s and will remain as Mt. Kenya political kingpin, we shall go where he will shepherd us and these power hungry politicians should imagine that we shall follow them blindly or scatter in all directions to divide us.
They can continue to make noise in the public arenas, but they should know that we aren’t amused when they attack and abuse the President or incite the mountain.
It will not be business as usual – wait and see when politicians incite communities against other communities.
