A lobby group set to campaign for the election of Deputy President Dr William Ruto as the fifth President was launched in Nyeri County yesterday.
The lobby, Kenya Kwanza Nyeri chapter will move from village to village in the entire county soliciting votes for Dr Ruto.
It was launched at Senior Chief Wambugu Palace near Nyeri town in a ceremony attended by the Nyeri County Assembly Speaker John Kaguchia who was the chief guest.
Former Nyeri mayor Wanyaga Gathaka who is the lobby patron said they hoped to marshall at least 95 per cent of all voters in the county to support Dr Ruto.
The campaign is set to be rolled out next week.
