Scores of mourners yesterday bid farewell to the mother of Kieni parliamentary aspirant on UDA ticket.
Alex Kamau Wachira (Wa-Total), lost his mother, Ann Wanjiku Wachira last week.
She was buried at her home in Irigithathi area, Naromoru ward, Kieni East Sub-County.
Among those who attended were Nyeri County Governor Mutahi Kahiga, Gilgil MP Martha Wangari, Nyeri Women Rep Rahab Mukami, Chinga MCA Kiruga Thuku, Mweiga MCA Kawanjiku Kawanjiku, Nyeri UDA Senate aspirant Wahome Wamatinga among other leaders.
Wa-Total is the frontrunner in UDA where if he wins in the nomination, he will square it with among others, area MP and Jubilee Party National Director of Election Kanini Kega, Wachira Keen and Stephen Kiriungi Muchire.
