Dr Paula.O.M.Otukike hails from the grassy footpaths of Mahalapye village, she grew up on humble beginnings and went to Leetile primary school later Mmutle primary where she sat for her primary school leaving exams.
Paula began writing at Swaneng hill senior when doing her o level equivalent but never published, she finished her studies and went to pursuing her Bachelor of Arts at the University of Botswana in 2005 August.
She only began writing formerly in twenty twenty prior to Covid and she never stopped.
Paula had teaching experience in Luanda, Angola, she had various accolades to name a few but she remains humble.
Dr OTUKILE has many awards under her gender based violence activism and writing but this is the first international award as the best author of the year.
This past weekend she won best author of the year at the Zikomo Africa awards.
