I salute the national flag with dignity and honor,

I salute the national flag with great respect!

Oh! How I remember our great forefathers,

Who fought without fear! For us to raise that flag,

For us to live ever peacefully,

Oh! How I remember our forefathers ,

Oh! How I remember our great mothers and sisters,

Who fought for us to raise that flag,

Oh! How I remember the lost lives,

The lives of the little kids,

The lives of the poor grandmothers ,

The lives of the young women and men,

Though many lives and souls were lost,

They fought with great dignity!!!

Our great heroes and heroines!!

Our great commanders Robert Mugabe,

Joshua Nyongolo Nkomo, Mbuya Nehanda Sekuru Kaguvi,

Oh! How great as they led

The great heroes and heroines,

I salute the national flag with dignity,

I bow down my head with great reverence,

With great Respect for our forefathers.
