Tell us something about yourself.
Hi, my name is Prashant, I am an US technical recruiter. I also worked as a Customer service representative. I just relax my mind by listening music after work. I like to do sketches in free times.
- From where did you get motivation for artwork?
Well I was just getting bored during last sem of my college so I decided to kill my time by doing something interesting, so I started doing sketching, worked on perfection. It took more then a year to improve my skills.
This is how I got motivation to learn myself and grow
- Being an artist, what are your views for creative industry? Where do you see this industry in next 5 years?
I just want to tell creative industry to give chance to everyone to showcase their skills, certificate doesn’t matter, many of them have better talent then professionals but the reason they can’t grow of not getting any platform to showcase their talent.
Art is a creativity that never ends, whether if it comes to perfection; it keeps growing to the next level and will keep growing till infinity.
- What kind of struggles you have faced?
Art needs silent atmosphere to practice which I haven’t got. But still I never stop. During practice if output doesn’t come better many of them were demotivated me by telling I can’t do but still I take it as a motivation and kept practicing.
- How did you choose plot for your artwork?
Art is the only thing in which I am having interest. I always used to draw scenery, landscape etc in my school, soΒ Β this was about to work and I decided to take my art in next level
- What are your achievements till date?
Promotion, positive response from social media, gained sketch orders, comments from Bollywood stars, singers and celebrities, youtubers.
This thing motivates me to grow.
- Where do you see yourself in next 10 years? And what is your long term goal?
As an artist. I just want to spread happiness to each and everyone life’s which I’ll express it to them in the form of art.
- Who inspired you?
I just got inspiration from myself. It’s good to keep ourself busy to grow rather than to do time pass.
- Is there any advice you want to give to budding artists?
Keep growing in which you are good and have interest. Always listen to yourself, not others, ignore negative comments be happy.
- Parting shot
Just want to thanks to the Mt Kenya team and editor for giving me this golden opportunity to showcase my talent, it will surely help me to reach through more people as well as artist to engage or to collaborate with
