Worth Noting:

  • As envisaged in the manifesto of Kenya Kwanza, Ruto’s roadmap of resuscitating Kenya’s economy is anchored on Bottom-Up Economic Transformation (Beta) Agenda. The effects of this revolution is being felt in all parts of the country.
  • President Ruto is currently inspecting and launching mega development projects and programmes in Coast region, among them hospitals, mega roads, affordable housing and last mile electricity connectivity.
  • Notably, Dr Ruto rode to power at a time when country was facing five major challenges: A dilapidated economy, largest foreign debts, severe drought rated to be the worst in 40 years, Russia-Ukraine war and at a time when the country was recovering from deadly COVID-19 pandemic.

President William Ruto assumed office at a time when the retail price of 2kg packet of maize flour stood at Sh230.

Today, the price has dropped to Sh100 and Sh120 depending on brand of Unga.

Before highlighting other key achievements of the President Ruto less than three years since he assumed office, allow me to say that the big strides he was making were sending cold shivers down the spine of his opponents whose eyes are trained on 2027.

But so far the efforts of his opponents of trying to sabotage his development agenda have not borne any fruits.

Reason? Having served the previous administrations, Dr Ruto knew all the political tricks of the opposition leaders

It is also worth noting majority of Kenyans have become wiser. They know how to discern truth, lies and political shenanigans.

As envisaged in the manifesto of Kenya Kwanza, Ruto’s roadmap of resuscitating Kenya’s economy is anchored on Bottom-Up Economic Transformation (Beta) Agenda. The effects of this revolution is being felt in all parts of the country.

As a result, he had no time for honey-moon. He immediately hit the road.

Less than three years since he assumed office,  he has managed to stabilize the economy

This explains why his critics are having sleepless nights because they will have nothing to sell to Kenyans in 2027 campaigns.

In light of this, I agree that the contest will be between President Ruto and his track record

This time, President Ruto is poised to take the country to new heights of success and shared prosperity.

Reason? Professor Kithure Kindiki has been walking the talk. This is in terms of undertaking his constitutional duties assigned to him by the President with utmost dedication and precision.
