Worth Noting:

  • During the electioneering period, Dr Ruto, the Kenya Kwanza presidential candidate, made a raft of promises. He listed them as short and long term.
  • Given this scenario, the Ruto administration had no option other than to review timelines he has set out for the rollout of some of these projects. The delays were however shortlived.
  • As we know, the outgoing President Uhuru Kenyatta was supporting the candidature of Azimio La Umoja-One Kenya Coalition leader Raila Odinga.
  • The DP gave shocking and damning revelations that 5.3 million of Kenyans were starving and more than 300,000 domestic and wild animals had died.

As a born again Christian, I understand where President William Ruto was coming from when he stated that the Church will be at the center of governance.

Speaking during a prayer meeting held at Nyayo Stadium, the President faulted those opposed to the prayers meetings they were attending across the country.

I want to tell them. God, our creator, comes first in everything that we do.

The Bible says knowing God is the beginning of the Wisdom. You cannot succeed without Him.

He likened himself to Nehemiah who was

Jeered by Tobias and Sanballat as he was rebuilding Jerusalem Wall but was still successful.

During the electioneering period, Dr Ruto, the Kenya Kwanza presidential candidate, made a raft of promises. He listed them as short and long term.

The opinion polls conducted early this year showed that he had fulfilled half of them.

He took over the government at a time when the country was reeling in astronomical challenges: The bitting drought and famine, dilapidated economy and Russian-Ukraine.

The situation had been excerbated by fact that the country was recovery from the devastating effects of Covid-19 pandemic.

Given this scenario, the Ruto administration had no option other than to review timelines he has set out for the rollout of some of these projects. The delays were however shortlived.

As we know, the outgoing President Uhuru Kenyatta was supporting the candidature of Azimio La Umoja-One Kenya Coalition leader Raila Odinga.

For Dr Ruto, this posed a real threat to his bid. He however put up a brave face and spirited fight.

The final decision on who will succeed Uhuru lied with Kenyans and they will decide at the ballot.

So, our message to the deep state and the system is. Don’t try to rig the elections.  Majority of Kenyans have said a big No to the Uhuru project.

Put yourself in Ruto’s shoes. He fought and managed to wrestle him down.

Biblically, Ruto was David and Raila was Goliath.

For Ruto, he always reiterated. I have God and the people of Kenya on my side.

Since they were sworn in, President Ruto and his Deputy Rigathi Gachagua have attended more than ten interdenominational prayers meetings across the country.

We saw the hand of the God. HE answered our prayers.  We are here to thank Him and seek his blessings and guidance.

We have an agenda to take this country to greater heights of prosperity and success. We are here to commit this agenda to God.

As we know, the duo spouses were also prayer worriers. The other day the duo attended a prayer meeting organized by their spouses and other religious leaders at Nyayo Stadium.

They prayed for the rain and end of drought.

The DP gave shocking and damning revelations that 5.3 million of Kenyans were starving and more than 300,000 domestic and wild animals had died.

For me, I believe that God is hearing these prayers.

Therefore, I would urge those faulting the duo to rethink their stand.

God is the giver of life, breathe and the energy that you have.

The Bible says he is a God who listens and respond to our needs that we bring to Him through prayers and songs of praises.

Trust in Him. You will always achieve your goals.
