Supporting youth is a crucial aspect of societal progress, encompassing a wide range of services and programs aimed at expanding opportunities for young people. As future leaders, innovators, and change-makers, youth require a robust support system that nurtures their potential, addresses their unique challenges, and ensures their overall well-being. This essay explores the significance of youth support, its various forms, and its impact on individuals and communities. The reforms and measures undertaken regarding youth ensure that all young people have access to the resources and opportunities they need to succeed. This not only benefits the individuals directly involved but also strengthens communities by fostering a just and inclusive society. The future of a nation rests in the hands of its energetic, healthy youth, both mentally and physically. Over 60% of Uzbekistan’s population is under the age of 30. Since the early days of the Republic’s independence, great attention has been paid to the education, upbringing, and health of the younger generation. This pressing issue is considered one of the most important priorities of state policy. The National Program for Personnel Training, reforms in the education sector aligned with global standards, and the incomparable work directed at preserving public health all embody these shared goals. In November 1991, the Law “On the Fundamentals of State Youth Policy in the Republic of Uzbekistan” was adopted. In 1997, a Presidential Decree of the Republic of Uzbekistan was issued to establish the “Umid” Foundation to support the education of gifted youth abroad. The adoption of the 2014 Resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On Additional Measures Aimed at Implementing State Youth Policy in the Republic of Uzbekistan” marked a logical continuation of the efforts to raise a highly spiritual, independent, and free-thinking generation, proficient in modern scientific achievements, and comprehensively healthy and well-rounded. This resolution is aimed at further developing science and creating broader conditions for realizing the intellectual potential of gifted and talented youth, including young women.
