Β
The flower beds of freedom,
You watered comrade,
Are blossoming,
Yet you enjoyed not the fruits
Of your labour.
On this day,
Tears may well,
But will never dry…..
To leave our bosoms parched.
Our immortal memories
Are watering tears of sad
Reminiscence
As we trail behind your copious
Sweat
To this day of the merry sky
And moon!
Where dawn dodges your travail
With none of your shadow
Seeable in this embellished
Modernity
Except for the sulky black-ink
On the groaning tombstone:
A Hero! A Gallant Son!
A Pathfinder For Freedom!
That always remind us to keep
Leafing the ink-pads of memories!
