We Support Your Bid To Revive Farming and Unite The Mountain Leadership, Activist David Kimengere Tells DP Gachagua

Political and Human Rights activist David Kimengere has called on Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua not to relent in his effort to revive various farming activities and bringing together all the leadership from the mountain region.
Kimengere, who is popularly known as Sauti Ya Mnyonge says the region can only advance when the leadership takes a singular and common stand.
This, he says, can only be achieved if the leaders are united and speak in one voice.
Speaking on Monday at Wega TV where he was hosted during a morning talk show, Kimengere told the Deputy President that apart from uniting political leaders elected on different parties, he should also reach out to others who contested various political seats and lost.

Kimengere, a hawker by profession castigated the former administration that left power last year for looking down on the underprivileged and acting for the rich.
This he said, is what made retired president Uhuru Kenyatta lose touch with reality and grassroot support.
He hoped that the region and entire country’s lost glory amongst farmers in various subsectors will be redeemed through changes being effected.
Kimengere who in the last General Election contested the Othaya constituency parliamentary seat said he was ready and willing to lend a helping hand in the Kenya Kwanza administration in among other issues, tackling the global warming, and unemployment as well alcohol, drugs and substance abuse.
He called on Kenyans to give President William Ruto and his government time to implement their manifesto instead of criticising them, just a few weeks after taking office.
