Social justice problems like human trafficking have been gaining global attention for the past two decades due to their damaging effect on human beings. Due to this, many people believe that youngsters should rise to fight against human trafficking. College students are increasingly interested in social justice issues on campus. Since last year, over half of the students participants indicated that they were actively involved in different social justice movements. College students are more concerned about these initiatives because they feel that movements lead to change.

The main targets of the traffickers are children and teenagers. The victims fail to explore their suffering with others  because of fear. College students should be educated about social justice issues and encourage victims to raise voices against human trafficking. For example, some people are abused by their own family members, and these victims are unaware that they have supporters outside to protect them. College students as academic practitioners have so many privileges, in terms of speaking up their opinions, and so it is easier for them to campaign against any form of social injustice.

Due to language barriers, many victims are always not coming forward to complain. College students need to be ready to work as activists to support and educate victims. For example, students can work with Non-governmental organizations to provide free education to the needy populations. Victims can be more open with their age mates. Human trafficking cases should be taken to court to grant justice to the affected individual. This is possible through activists. It is good for college students to be involved in social issues because their voices are easily heard.

It is the responsibility of youngsters to help resolve many social justice issues. College students have strong communities all around the nation to start movements. They also have powerful opinions that the media acclaims, proving that they should be responsible for humanity matters
