Author Launches A Book Club Leader Training Initiative Across Africa

Dr Paula O.M.Otukile, Founder Mulher Forte African Literature
Dr Paula O.M. Otukile is an award winning author from Mahalapye, Botswana and the founder of a growing literature consulting company named Mulher Forte African Literature.
The company has been empowering authors since its debut on the 8th of September 2020.
The mentorship programs, publishing, saw the upcoming authors across Africa gain recognition and growth as well as more networking.
The Mulher Forte African literature birthed the Francistown international book festival, Read Bala Africa initiatives which are key to promoting literature.
The amazing thing is consistent annual literature awards which have seen a fourth year on the 8th of April 2024.
Dr Otukile said she saw the gap between writing and reading hence she is going all out to empower people to form book clubs, she said even though it’s been a month having created that course for reading and book clubs, more people are interested and she intends to take it to school going kids and libraries across Africa to cultivate reading.
She said the link works easily and the quiz gives an opportunity to redo the course again once one fail.
So far Lesotho, Zambia, Crotia, Slovenia, USA, congo, Eswatini, Rsa and few Batswana piloted the course.
