The January transfer window is meant for teams to strengthen their loose ends and create the team depth. This can be due to the injuries which teams face in the first bit of the season.
Of all the 20 teams in the English premier league, A team that claims to be contending for the title should be on the forefront to tighten her weakness, this enables healthy competition and also brings in quality and depth to the squad.
For Arsenal going out in the window without securing a striker, it’s like they are committing a sin which they will pay for it at the end of the season in May. Apart from having injuries, Arsenal has an emergency they need to address at their Frontline.
For three seasons now, The Gunners have been in a position to rectify their transfer mistakes and bring in an experienced striker who can score many goals which will in turn boost their title race.
Lacking a good finisher, is a good advantage for the Arne slot’s men since they will be dropping important points while Liverpool will be striving to enjoy a cool breeze at the top.
Arteta has created a good momentum after years since Arsene Wenger left, but it’s a bitter pill to swallow for the Arsenal fans to go another season without an EPL title. The consistency of the past three season may eventually come to an end if they will fail to put in their efforts to be crowned, then they will count themselves out from next season as big names like Chelsea and Manchester united may proclaim their places in the league because of their managerial and player chemistry they are building now.
