As Kenyans try to prepare their minds thinking of who they will elect in the coming elections they are dissatisfied with the country’s direction concerning the National Economy.
The economy is now at stake and needs immediate action. Opinion leaders should tame off their widely known agenda No. 1 of rectifying Kenya’s economy. Kenyan’s have no reason to put a smile on their own faces following the inflation rates impacted on them at the moment. Politician get salaried every month on top of it there’s hefty allowances while the common mwananchi who still is taxed suffers from inflation.
Cost of products has really risen up like for instance 1kg of sugar which used to go for ksh.90 is now@ 150, 6kg Gas refill Ksh. 699 which is @1500 right now and Ksh.120 for bar soap which now ranges between Ksh. 180-200.
Empty talks with no actions wonβt help the common mwananchi whose life keeps on deteriorating every now and then. #lowerfoodprices a phrase commonly used by Kenyans on social media platforms regarding the situation at hand which has turned out useless to people who could offer help.
Politicians should work towards making the life of every citizen very comfortable. They should first focus on reinstating the economy to its original state to prove to Kenyans that if elect they will perform their duties well without laundering money for their own benefit.
As the election period is nearing politicians have to portray how they are going to scrap off corruption in public offices with embezzling of funds and public properties as this has led to the creation of corruption at personal level giving rise to tribalism and so on.
