Former governor of Nairobi, Mbuvi Sonko, recently rose and was seen campaigning as he accompanied the president of the republic of Kenya during a development tour at Embakasi, Nairobi. This was a peak period in his political career after he was impeached on 18 Dec 2020.
The IEBC cleared Sonko to run for Mombasa gubernatorial position. This goes without saying that he was the most improved student from 047 to 001. However, the Supreme court dismissed Sonko’s appeal matters his impeachment. Sonko fell from 001 to 000, he is not running for office.
