Unemployment In Kenya

Unemployment has become the main issue in Kenya today. Statistics shows that unemployment rate in Kenya is expected to be 7.40% .

The number of graduates is increasing rapidly in every year. This shows that there will be scarce jobs and more people are likely to lack job opportunities. This may lead to increased rate of crimes in the country. So graduates are encouraged to come up with self-employment jobs where they will be earning some money to sub stain themselves.

Graduates finishes up there education with a lot of hopes of acquiring a well-paying jobs ,but this is not really what happens, they ends up tarmacking with their certificates from one office to another in order to secure the jobs .

For the students who are in technical institute are able to secure jobs because they got technical skills of starting their own businesses, so they don’t always depend on the job vacancies.

Technical skills are supposed to be taught in universities so that they will have skills to run and start business to cater for their lives.
